ISP figures are usually theoretical peaks. Real speed depends on Wi-Fi signal, your network card, the router and congestion. Run the test a few times and take the average.
Wireless signal fluctuation and background downloads both consume bandwidth. Close other network-heavy apps and compare results on the same device and location.

SwiftSpeed predicts with machine learning and stops early when confidence exceeds 95% twice in a row: 78% of tests finish early, saving ~67% of traffic on average. If the prediction is unreliable, it falls back to a standard test to keep results accurate.
